  • Design, build, and execute our dashboard and overall visualization strategy based on input from data domain leaders and other sources.
  • Create rich and clear data visualizations by simplifying complex ideas to clearly communicate with a non-technical audience.
  • Understand the balance between white-space and content to create a compelling narrative.
  • Successfully bridge IT and business communication efforts with ability to speak the language of both types of stakeholders.
  • Engage a variety of teams and levels of data consumers (analyst to executive) to elicit requirements and influence the way those teams make decisions through business intelligence tools.
  • Evangelize the value of business intelligence and the new dashboards/tools created through enterprise trainings and demos.
  • Use business intelligence tools to create and manage reports, dashboards, and self-service solutions that are critical for deriving insights to the business.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards as requested by DNA or functional leadership.
  • 7+ years of experience in design and/or construction of analytics dashboards.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Tableau Developer with architecture of visualizations and analytic dashboards using Tableau (TDE and live sources)
  • Expertise with UI/UX best practice principles and knowledge of how to incorporate design thinking into dashboards/reporting analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in using data visualization tools. (i.e. SAS visual analytics, JMP, D3.js, OBIEE, Qlikview, Sisense, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau - preferred).
  • A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and verbal / written communication skills, with an emphasis on strong quantitative analysis skills.
  • Build bridges and influence others to understand your perspective and knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities related to multiple projects at once and work collaboratively across organizational lines.

  • 4 year degree in analytics, computer science, engineering, finance, mathematics, or similar quantitative field is preferred, but may be substituted with a diverse portfolio and experience.
Certifications and Technical Skills:
  • A Tableau Desktop Certified Associate or Tableau Server Certified Associate certification would be greatly preferred.
  • Preferred languages and skills: CSS/CSS3, HTML5, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Cloud Platform, Exasol, Python, Oracle BI, Tableau, SQL, PowerBI, data modeling.
