Mechanical Design Engineer : 19-05306

Primary Function of Position:
  • Design control for new and sustaining vision engineering projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with new product development engineers and test software engineers to understand and document design risks and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design control documentation (FMEAs, requirements, etc.) during development of vision engineering products.
  • Coordinate resource allocation during formal V&V testing.
  • Ensure all requirements are satisfied as part of V&V testing.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
  • Minimum of B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to cultivate collaboration across multiple disciplines to insure timely project success.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced environment to meet business needs.
  • Self-starter needing minimal supervision.
  • Self-confident and able to react quickly under pressure.
