Description :
The Helpline Support Specialist is responsible for providing users with support and technical assistance for this new Ariba cloud platform, primarily via phone.
Responsibilities :
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Ariba users seeking technical assistance.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk users through the problem-solving process.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users.
  • Record calls and their resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Follow up and update user status and information.
 Minimum Qualifications :
  • Proven experience as a helpdesk technician or other customer support role.
  • Tech savvy with good understanding of computer systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
 Desired Qualifications :
  • Experience with the SAP Ariba cloud based platform.
  • Experience with the procurement process and/or purchasing systems.
  • BA/BS in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
