Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for an Electrical Engineer for new satellite power management design for one of our premier clients in the aerospace and defense industry.  This is a long-term contract, with strong possibility of converting to a direct hire.  You will be working onsite in the Denver, CO area.  As our employee, you qualify for our full benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, troubleshoot and test for new satellites for their power usage and management, including solar panels and battery utilization
• Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in the DOD and/or Aerospace domain or commercial satellite industry
• Active or prior DOD security clearance preferred, but candidates must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance in the future
• Technically manage projects or processes
• Work effectively individually and as part of a team with little oversight
• Coach, review and delegate work to other professionals
