Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for a motivated, self-starter Junior Sprinkler Designer for one of our premier clients in the San Leandro, CA area. Job Responsibilities:

• Runner – Helping where needed, including delivering or picking up plans to/from job sites, etc.
• Permit processor – would be responsible for submitting and tracking permit applications to various jurisdictions, including over the counter applications once they are knowledgeable enough to handle them
• Assist PM with assembling job information, tracking field notes and preparing documentation for as-built drawings and change orders.
• Helping wherever else needed.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience with fire sprinkler system design (mostly tenant improvements and small projects)
• Ability to prepare background drawings from CAD files and PDFs 
• Prior experience with site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems
• Self-starting, motivated individual who wants to learn
