Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for a Research Scientist for one of our premier clients in the San Jose, CA area. This is a direct hire role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Research, develop high-level architecture approaches for hardware
  • Research, develop and design micro-architecture
  • Model processors and explore architecture space
  • Implement digital prototype, processors as synthesizable code
  • Benchmark and validate models, simulations and the digital prototype
 
Qualifications:
  • Masters or equivalent experience
  • Experience coding using C++ and Python
  • Experience with Caffe code or other deep learning frameworks
  • Experience with SystemC
  • Familiarity with neural networks and machine learning concepts
 
Desired Skills:
  • PhD level
  • Knowledge of signal processing, linear algebra, image processing, and compression techniques
  • Familiar with Halide, OpenVX, GPU OpenCL/Cuda programming
