Your Contributions: 
  • Conduct field surveys of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in existing buildings and enter site survey information into AutoCAD.
  • Record issues on existing sites that could be a hindrance to the new building occupant.
  • Relay site information to project managers and/or design team to develop construction documents and/or revisions.
  • Attend construction site coordination meetings.  Assess and resolve design conflicts and subsequent coordination with project manager and design team.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The candidate will work out of their home traveling to job sites as requested and then produce reports out of their home office. Must be local to the NYC Metro Area and frequently travel to job sites in the five boroughs of NYC (50% Manhattan)
Your Requirements:
  • Experience is required with commonly used HVAC equipment such as - RTU's, AHU's, FCU's, chillers, fans, pumps, VAV boxes. 
  • Knowledge with process of ductwork/piping, plumbing fixtures, hot water heaters, etc.
  • Experience with sizing, inspecting electrical switchgear, transformers, conduits and feeders
  • Must be a motivated self-starter, able to work independently, with excellent communication skills
  • Minimum 1-year experience with AutoCAD require
  • Experienced with MS Excel, Word, Outlook
Your Education:
2-Year Technical Degree or higher

Your Compensation:
$70,000 to $80,000 yearly salary, commiserate with experience
