SUMMARY
The Quality Administrative Assistant's primary role is to support the Quality staff with various administrative activities on an as-needed basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist with Job documentation creation and review.

Assist with record management, including filing, searching, transferring, and approvals.

Provide support to Quality Engineers and Quality Manager for quality issue resolution and job documentation creation.

Assist and support Quality Lab and Calibration activities, including arranging support from Quality Inspectors (to help with items such as FAIs and Gage R&Rs).

Assist with Documentation items (such as Job Instruction creating/edits, Router Review, Doc Changes, Filing, etc.)


QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, candidates must be proficient (with training, as needed) to use appropriate equipment/measurement devices. This may include, but is not limited to calipers, micrometers, cmm, ogp, comparators, gage pins, drop indicators, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant Quality Inspection experience is preferred, but not required (can be trained).

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and understand English. Candidate must be proficient at understanding internal and external product specifications such as Job Sheets, Job Instructions, Part Prints, IQMS BOMs and other commonly used documentation in the facility.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Candidate must be proficient with basic mathematical calculations, specifically addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must also be able to interpret, understand, and translate fractions and decimal values to 0.0001” resolution.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Lifting and moving product packages up to 30 lbs may be required at limited frequency.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
