Production Technologist 1st Shift

 EG Workforce Solutions is seeking a Production Technologist for a client in Lansing.

Summary: Assists in the formulation of reagents and preparation of components used in the assembly of lateral flow devices according to Standard Manufacturing Procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Dispense prepared solutions onto membrane using automated and semi-automated equipment.
  • Assemble and package lateral flow components through the use of automated and semi-automated assembly equipment.
  • Use good manufacturing processes and ISO approved procedures to manufacture products.
  • Complete production documentation accurately according to Standard Manufacturing Procedures.
  • Properly label components according to Standard Manufacturing Procedures.
  • Assist in maintenance of raw material inventory.
  • Maintain proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment at all times.
  • May work at different stations and in different departments as production needs require.

Education and/or Experience: High school education; Completed college level science program, chemistry or biology coursework preferred; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform routine High School level mathematic calculations using units of American weight and measurement.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, equipment operation and manintenance instructions, and procedural documents written in English. Must have the ability to operate computers in English. Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English.

1st shift: 7:00AM to 3:30PM
