Recruiting Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports sourcing and recruiting processes as directed.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Sourcing applicants from Job Boards: e.g., Indeed, Career Builder and Michigan Talent Connect as well as our internal ATS.

• Screens resumes and interviews prospective applicants via telephone to ensure they meet position specific requirements.

• Assists with overall candidate management including pre-employment assessment and pre-employment checks.

• Assists in the candidate offer and declination process, including documentation and communication.

• Conducts new hire orientations and ensures a successful on-boarding experience.

• Performs troubleshooting and problem solving tasks, facilities the resolution of any service issues.

• Generates daily report queries to monitor activity.

• Completes projects under time constraints.

• May perform other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

• 2 – 3 yeas of Customer Service experience.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on departmental needs.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines, adapt to changing customer needs and multi-task.

• Able to communicate, oral and written, with all levels of customer management.

• Attention to detail with strong organization / follow-up skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and software applications (e.g., Microsoft suite of products, ATS systems, etc.).

• Recruiting or Staffing experience preferred, but not required.


PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Typical office environment.

• Ability to carry boxes of recruiting materials of up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to stand for 3 – 4 hours at a time.
