EG has a 2nd shift Shipping/ Receiving Administrative opportunity in the Battle Creek area.
Pay: $12.00
Hours: 3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.

Duties:
Responsible for entering customers orders received, generating system required picks to operations, confirming accuracy of shipments in the system and scheduling trucks as needed. Assigning dock times for incoming trucks making deliveries. Process shipping documents with the overall objective of meeting the customers requirements for on time delivery and accuracy.

  • Responsible to monitor incoming and outgoing shipments through various methods to determine and ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Responsible to generate appropriate shipping documents and labels and delivery orders.
  • Resolves and/or assists in resolving customer inquiries and/or complaints through appropriate method. Communicates with management as to customer requests, needs, concerns or complaints.
  • Provides JDE problem-solving & trouble-shooting support for staff, which includes training support for new staff members.
  • Assist with Physical Inventory preparation, research of count discrepancies and provide assistance to accounting for month end closings.
  • Assist with both internal and external audits. This includes direct responsibility for inquiries by auditors of areas of direct knowledge and responsibility.
  • Lead special projects regarding customer shipping and delivery issues, including inventory discrepancies.
  • Projects and/or assistance as directed or required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or its equivalent; two to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Proficient reading and writing capabilities necessary to interpret, analyze or formulate information required in the completion of responsibilities. Can include but not limited to general instructions, flowcharts, matrixes, reports and correspondence. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Well developed verbal communication skills necessary to effectively convey information, instruction, ideas and/or recommendations.

* Proficient mathematical aptitude necessary to perform and understand methods of calculation.

* Detail and quality oriented.

* Results oriented with the ability to establish appropriate priorities.

* Ability to solve practical problems where only limited standardization exists.

* Proficient level of understanding and use of business software required in the performance of position responsibilities to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), JDE (AS/400) and/or the ability to use this understanding to master specific software with limited training. Able to use ten key calculator.
