  • Technical analyst engineering resources responsible for analyzing list of open vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct necessary additional analysis in conjunction with client counterparts. Identify type of vulnerability as requiring environment modernization.
  • Identify type of vulnerability as requiring patch or configuration change. Identify type of vulnerability as requiring remediation exception.
  • Work with Client and System owners to identify risk mitigation options (e.g.) Network segmentation, host based intrusion detection etc.)
  • Develop exception request in conjunction with system owner.
  • Work with IT system owners to determine and get approval for change window.
  • Work with Client leadership for guidance and approval of the planned exception request.
  • Create a change request, work with Client change management board to gain CR approval.
  • Review monthly vulnerability report or request an ad hoc report / scan to confirm change and remediation

Two positions. One requires expertise with Cisco Routers and WAN engineering. Must be very proficient with Cisco design practices and devices configuration. Focus will be on WAN findings and vulnerabilities.
Second position requires LAN proficiency and must know both Cisco and Extreme Networks switches. Must be very proficient with Cisco design practices and devices configuration. Focus will be on LAN findings and vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrates a strong customer-centric approach, has empathy for global cultural differences, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated mastery of layer 3 routing that includes BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of IPv4
  • In-depth knowledge carrier network services and architecture design.
  • In-depth knowledge of WAN acceleration devices that optimize end user and data center to data center application flows.
  • Has a broad understanding of IT infrastructure platforms (cross work stream, e.g. Compute, Storage, LAN, VoIP, NGFW, VPN, IDS/IPS, Load Balancers, etc.)
  • Work with technical teams in a multi-vendor environment through Major Incident Response situation where required, providing clear communications to Sr. Management
  • Has the ability to effectively communicate complex technical topics to Sr. Management.
  • Able to communicate technical knowledge to non-technical business units.
  • Supports infrastructure projects and exercises sound judgment.
  • Works on complex technical problems and provides solutions that are highly innovative, cost effective, and operationally sound.
  • Takes the initiative to act independently to achieve organization objectives, uncover, and resolve issues.
