Pega Senior System Architect is responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC 7.X and other Pega Healthcare Insurance Industry frameworks, provides architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega.
Subject Matter Expert to assist in developing the architecture, support and services for specific IT applications
Consults with business users to test and debug applications to meet client needs
Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed
Responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega 7.X, and Pega Healthcare Insurance Industry Framework
Ability to Translate Business Requirements into DCO, Case design/application builds
Hands on experience building rules, data objects, integrations, and activities by following the best practices and guardrails.
Analyze, design and/or develop best practice business changes through technology solutions
Identify key performance alerts provided by the system and understand how to resolve the underlying issue
Manages code migration from development through to production.
May assist and help train lower level developers.
Extensively in depth hands on development and solution experience in implementing PEGA applications (4+ years)
Overall 8+ years IT experience
Must be a Pega Certified CSSA or LSA and have a good knowledge of Java frameworks
Hands on experience in implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP, etc.
Strong knowledge of Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA and OOD)
Experience with software architecture design and SOA services implementation
Experience in Case , Class Structure, Data Model design and business process modeling or workflow
Has expert knowledge of the system architecture, security model, and service interfaces
Extensive Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, WS*)
Experience in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle or DB2 is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with a team of architects and BA.
Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
Proven experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications
Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
Familiar with UML and Use case.
