Data Architect/SSIS Solution Architect

Responsibilities:
- Responsible to design, document, develop and implement, data integration/consolidation initiatives for an Enterprise application meeting industry standards

- Work closely with various infrastructure and business partners as well as developers to perform Requirements analysis, Data analysis, tracing of data lineage, develop designs, identify design/development issues, code review, fine tune code
- Translate business requirements into FSDs and technical specs
- Participate and lead projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards
- Lead the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases
- Demonstrate problem analysis and solving skills including complex problems
- Provide mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of database design, administration and/or modeling activities
- Support large and critical software applications within the organization
- Viewed as an application expert or adviser for one or more applications
- Must be able to articulate and assist application development in terms of architecture and process optimization

Requirements - Technical:
- Around 6-8 years technical background with majority of them directly related to data architecture, analysis and conformance with enterprise systems
- 5+ years of design & development experience in enterprise grade systems
- Must have hands on capability to assess the current system and design scalable SSIS processes
- Must have experience with design/development of enterprise level multi-tier systems for a high volume transactional & multi database
- Hands on experience as a DB Developer with strong RDBMS/noSQL architectural fundamentals - SQL Server/Oracle
- Skilled in enterprise data modeling, design and implementation
- Have worked on DB profiling, performance tuning techniques, DB partitioning, sharding, clustering concepts etc.

- Strong collaboration skills with ability to work with group of developers on complex projects developing business requirements identification, analysis and development, including policies, procedures and standards
- Skilled in authoring technical documentation and performing reviews, design, data manipulation, and creative problem solving
- Ability to take initiative and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, can work on multiple projects in parallel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to clearly articulate, document and communicate problem and resolution plans
- Ability to provide support and resolve issues during non-business hours
- Proven ability to interpret business requirements into data solutions
- Excellent track record of execution and delivery
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

Minimum Education and Certifications:
- Undergrad degree in Computer Science or equivalent with relevant work experience
- Certification - MCSA or Oracle Certified Associate (Developer track – not DBA) will be preferred
