Genius billing and Claims System Expert

Must have Skill:
· Minimum 4 years' experience in Genius billing and claims system support or development work (xchanging company)
· Role: Production support and manage tickets with change request in configuration and enhancements.
· Experience working on IBM AS400 system is mandatory and knows RPG programming
· Excellent communication need to work with client and off shore team
· Knowledge on property and casualty insurance is required.
Detailed JD for on onsite Genius resource:
· 5+ years of development, analysis and production support
· 5+ years of SQL with deep knowledge of the Genius core database
o Fast ad-hoc SQL development to support production investigation issues.
o SQL support of Reporting Team to help them with Genius database questions
o Crystal reports experience would be plus as legacy reports still in use.
· Experience with working directly with business users in UW, claims and/or Finance
o Professional level customer communications.
o Industry knowledge of Insurance and Reinsurance
· Relation of general insurance concepts to Genius functionality
· Work with work item / helpdesk tracking system and understand importance of status and metrics
· Development and support experience with GWS and GGI
o Hands on triage of production support errors and questions
· Evaluate inbound errors through GGI, and conclude the GWS change to solve the error
o Development experience of UW and Claims GWS transactions
o Able to generate/debug ad hoc GWS, which run successfully in SOAP, to aid integration developers.
o Understanding how to interpret Product Definition w.r.t. GWS validity
· Genius modules
o UW
o Extensive Housekeeping especially Product Definition
o Claims status processing and transactions
o All aspects of finance and Genius ledger accounts
o Familiarity with assisting users with GRG reports
o Experience with incorporation Genius SQL within Excel Data connections
· .Net development and support experience
o .Net front end systems interfacing with Genius using GWS and GGI
o SQL database development and support as peripheral databases to core Genius
· GL Interface from Genius
o Sompo has Lawson which would be ideal. But priority would be the interface functionality rather than the GL package itself
o Triage and support of interface balancing and transaction mapping issues
· Iseries server and O/S
o Command line processing
o System status conditions disk space, slow running jobs, connection issues
o Save/restore related to Genius
o System utilities: Esend, Authority Broker, ABS Messenger
o Jwalk GUI
o Genius Web/UI - setup of new environments and web server support/activation/maintenance
· ITP document printing and support connected to Genius
o ITP software upgrades
o Server upgrade and relocation to new servers
