Sr. Project Manager - Windows 10 Upgrade

Position Overview

The Project Manager will rollout infrastructure services to include the Windows 10 upgrade preparation, conference room audio/visual upgrades, new printer services, and the completion the Unified Communications implementation. This individual will develop a user interface template/structure that will be used for all future user impacting service changes. The individual will also develop the training on this methodology which will include communications, user testing, training for all users, etc. All of these infrastructure services in the building are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:
  • Accountable for on-time and on-budget project execution, meeting or exceeding the project delivery performance goals
  • Serves as the first point of contact/liaises between project stakeholders and project team to ensure project success
  • Collaborates with business analyst/project leader to assess and negotiate project scope against project goals
  • Manages project procurement (products and services required by third parties) and consults resources as needed
  • Ensures mitigation strategies are in place
  • Identifies project resource requirements and timelines
  • Leads team members to complete assigned tasks within specified timelines and ensure all team members feel engaged, productive and effective
  • Documents project change requests and assesses change impact
  • Creates, executes, monitors and revises project plan to meet changing project requirements and resources
  • Plans, prepares for and facilitates all project status meetings
  • Manages resolution of project issues including proper escalation to project stakeholders
  • Conducts project Lessons Learned meetings and uses results to continuously improve project processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within an IT Infrastructure organization's user-facing services.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environments on various projects, and have the ability to remain poised under stress and deadlines.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience managing complex technical projects in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Technical background familiar with SDLC practices required.
  • Experience with Agile and change management.
  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
