The Signal Processor Subsystems engineer works with Radar System and Signal Processor domain expert engineers to develop design requirements for Signal Processor hardware, software and VHDL detailed designs.
They will work with these domain experts and military
documentation to define the Signal Processor design requirements and test procedures.
They will support integration and test of Signal Processor designs using appropriate hardware and software toolsets, including interface simulations and sensor functionality.
They will simulate and integrate Signal Processor and Radar system components.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Minimum of eight years professional level experience and proven performance in digital hardware development from requirements through final testing at the system level.
Minimum of eight years professional level experience in digital circuit and module design, implementation and test.
Experience in various digital hardware verification techniques, including experience setting up and using test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic state analyzers).
Experience in, or knowledge of, hardware/firmware simulation tools.
Experience in, or knowledge of, firmware designs using VHDL language.
Experience in digital signal processing theory, FPGA design, C/C++ programming, and/or simulation tools such as MATLAB or ModelSim.
Ability to work in an accelerated, team environment.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Master of Science Degree in EE or ECE. Simulation experience such as Matlab.
