Performs a variety of duties in manufacturing and final assembly. Builds and populates electronics enclosure cabinets, routes cables, performs pressure tests, fills in as-built-list (ABL) templates, conduct continuity checks, preps units for customer delivery, and assists with customer and quality inspections.
Works from engineering drawings, electronic work instructions, and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment – torque wrenches, small hand tools, hand trucks, pressure test station, pull test equipment, etc.
Uses Loctite and other compounds and solutions. Responsible for accurate record keeping, time recording, and safety training.
Uses of the computer to access work instructions, log discrepancies/issues, log time, enter ABL information, and communicate via email.
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education and less than 5 Year of experience.
Good working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft products. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills and tools.
Looking for recent High School graduates that might have coursework or lab experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: design, robotics, mechanical aptitude, shop class, involvement with STEM activities in robotics or similar experience.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
