Knowledge of business processes in the general medical field with a focus in pharmaceuticals.
Demonstrate experience with development of web applications using the following languages and tools:
  • ASP.Net
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Cascading Style Sheets
  • HTML
  • XML
  • JavaScript
  • AJAX
  • Microsoft IIS
  • Experience with procurement, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Barcode symbiology and barcode scanner programming and use.
  • Experience integrating EDI technologies into web-based systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Forms System (PFS).
  • Proven ability to deliver projects within shorten timelines.
Contractor Responsibilities:
  • Complete enhancement requests to the HMS (Health Management System) / PFS web service as directed by the Department.
  • Provide support, technical documentation and training for the HMS / PFS web service and any other components of PFS as directed by the Department.
  • Complete enhancement requests as specified by requests for actions using the following process and as directed by the Department:
  • Receive the enhancement request in writing from the Department Contract Manager.
  • Conduct discovery and analysis meetings to determine the business requirements to complete the request.
  • Produce a scope of work detailing the technical and functional requirements of the request along with the number of hours to complete the request and the date the request will be completed.
  • Produce a cost to implement the scope of work.
  • Receive written approval from the Department Contract Manager to proceed with implementing the scope.
  • If the Contractor does not receive approval from the Department Contract Manager, analysis time will be billed.
  • Implement the scope of work.
  • Test the implementation of the scope.
  • Provide Department with the ability to test and verify the scope is properly implemented.
  • Receive written approval from the Department Contract Manager to push the enhancement request to the production environment (go live).
  • Install the enhancement request in the production environment.
  • Update the application's version history.
  • Notify Department the enhancement is in production.
  • Provide Department with an invoice.
  • Upgrade the development database from SQL Server 2014 to SQL Server 2016 within 180 days of execution.
  • Upgrade the beta and production database from SQL Server 2014 to SQL Server 2016 within 180 days of execution.
  • Setup application encryption handshaking on all environments within 180 days of execution.
  • Create a new Virtual Machine instance of the database server environment for replication of the database.
  • Setup SQL Server database Replication between master and slave database server environments.
  • Configure PFS application to use the master and slave database server environments.
  • Complete Inventory Administration Updates & NI Reorder Report as directed by the Department.
  • Complete Bulk Reorder Report updates and Bulk Request Form Updates to accommodate the Bulk Inventory Module.
  • Sunset obsolete reports & graphs as directed by the Department.
  • Create report template and scheduling abilities directed by the Department.
  • Provide the following tools to facilitate running of large data exports: Automated cleanup routines, run timer modal, Excel max size check, store and use number of records, export to csv within 210 days of execution.
  • Program the following Ad-Hoc Reports (data sets): Cardinal Invoices, Forms, Returns, CI Repack Orders, CI Repack Jobs, NI Receiving RTI
  • Requests, NI Receiving Orders, NI Receiving Jobs/Create Barcodes, NI Inventory Transaction History, NI Inventory, PID Details, NI Inventory Reconciliation Scan Events, Bulk Inventory BPHP Receive Order, Bulk Inventory Stock Levels, Bulk Inventory Transaction History, Bulk Inventory Reconciliation Counts, Administration Users, Administration Programs, Administration Products within 150 days of execution.
  • Update the Quarantine Bin Details & Product History Excel Exports within 60 days of execution.
  • Provide the following Inventory Metrics Reports: Product Shipped, Product in Transit, Product Requested, Nurse Issuance Returns metrics, Bulk Returns Metrics, and Utilization metrics within 210 days of execution.
  • Implement CI Repack area enhancements and reports as requested by the Department.
