Job Description:
  • The Compliance Transformation Project is taking a fresh look at all business processes and associated infrastructure that supports the Regulatory Change Management Domain.
  • Building a new Horizon Scanning service, a new Law Library and an enhanced Risk Assessment as part of the effort.
  • The BA consultant is a position providing domain experience and guidance across Risk and Compliance to deliver a cohesive set of deliverables for Compliance and the second line of defense.
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Create detailed Communications Strategy to ensure business requirements are realized.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
  • Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.

  • Acted as a BA in regulatory Change projects, writing BRDs and FRDs for the projects.
  • Strong experience in process flow diagrams including visio and powerpoint.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience driving change projects in the Financial Institution practice at a tier 1 management consultancy, or within the technology or strategy organizations of a systemically significant capital markets business.

  • Eight or more years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance or related field.
