Senior Full Stack Developer

Summary:
The development role is in the Regulatory GT organization, providing technology solutions in support of bank-wide regulatory and audit initiatives. The Regulatory GT organization supports multiple platforms, including multi-tiered service-oriented infrastructure and large scale big data platforms that process positions and trades from all our Client business units
An experienced Full Stack Developer is needed for the Regulatory GT Level One (L1) Controls team that supports front-office supervisors, business control units, and business control managers various Non-Financial Risk ( "NFR) requirements
The individual is responsible for design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and production support for one or more components of the system. He / she will partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver required projects from ideation through final implementation. Ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders is a plus.
The role requires the individual to work independently and/or as a member of a regionally dispersed cross-functional team working on medium to large sized initiatives. The candidate will possess a solid hands-on delivery track record across front-end, back end, and related disciplines.
The individual adhere to established methodologies and standards as part of their responsibilities. This includes applying project management and systems development lifecycle processes within complex information technology projects.
Prior experience in a Financial Services environment is a plus, especially knowledge in the areas of non-financial risk, risk calculation, and securities processing

Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • Participate or lead the collection of business requirements and contribute materially to the development of functional design. Participate in the project delivery from requirements to production deployment
  • Development of source code for front to back software components (e.g., Java, Angular).
  • Designs and implements automated testing scripts in collaboration with test automation engineers. Measures and analyzes code for quality. Participates in the source code reviews.
  • Integrates software components following the integration strategy. Verifies integrated software components by unit and integrated software testing.
  • Supports release deployments into controlled environments.
Capture Build and Deployment notes, develop automated deployment scripts, as needed
  • 7 10 years technical experience
  • Strong Java and services experience
  • Strong experience in J2EE technologies
  • Working experience in Spring, Hibernate, Batch processing
  • Working experiencing in building REST API's
  • Experience in Weblogic / JBoss & Tomcat
  • Database development experience (Oracle preferred)
  • UI development experience (Angular)
  • Agile process experience
  • Design Patterns & Frameworks
  • Clear written and verbal communication

Experience / Exposure (Recommended):
  • Test Driven Development experience
  • Hands on business and systems knowledge gained in a regulatory delivery environment
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tools
Education / Certification (Recommended):
  • Undergraduate Degree in technical discipline (Computer Science preferred) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma / work experience)
