About the Position
We are looking for a passionate, energetic and highly creative UX designer to design easy-to-use, intuitive and enjoyable experiences for our flagship wealth management platform used by thousands of financial professionals. You will join a well-established user experience team and you will have the opportunity to shape the design of both web-based and mobile applications. You will partner with our product management team to conceptualize and bring to life product ideas. The position offers the opportunity to practice and grow your experience design skills in all areas of the user-centered design discipline.

  • Partners with business analysts and product managers to translate business and user requirements into successful, innovative UX design solutions
  • Analyzes user requirements and business needs through use cases and user flows
  • Creates design concepts, storyboards, information architecture, wireframes, detailed user interface designs, interactive prototypes and user interface specifications for our financial applications
  • Leads the visual design and data visualization activities for medium size and large projects
  • Produce brand standards and visual assets that are re-usable across our platforms
  • Collaborates with the visual designers of the user experience team to help produce visually appealing designs
  • Works closely with development and testing teams in the implementation and testing of user interfaces
  • Creates and maintains user experience guidelines and design standards
  • Helps in the planning and execution of user research studies such as contextual inquiries, user surveys and usability tests.

  • Knowledge of user centered design methodologies and activities
  • Knowledge and expertise with Design Thinking, Service Desing and User Journey Maps
  • Ability to demonstrate product concepts through design and translate such concepts into detailed user interfaces and prototypes
  • Passion for UI design and attention to design detail
  • Expert level knowledge of prototyping tools such Invision, Axure,
  • Balsamiq Expert knowledge of Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Understanding of web and mobile technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing digital products and platforms.
  • Prior experience in financial services industry
  • Bachelor's degree in user experience design, industrial/visual design, human computer interaction, psychology or a related discipline.
