Solutions Portfolio and Risk Analyst

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Client Assistance and Rehousing Enterprise System (CARES) the agency's case and sheltering management system and is used throughout the agency and the Client provider network. The application drives business processes throughout the agency (e.g.: intake case and questionnaire, diversions, shelter assignments, outreach, assessments, service plans, invoicing, claiming, etc.), for all types of services offered by Client (shelter, Outreach, Home-based preventative, permanent housing, etc.). The current version of the application is at the end of life and support.

Tasks & Duties
  • Devise and execute Portfolio Management Plans
  • Perform planning and implementation of portfolio reports.
  • Identify, review, analyze, and manage operational risks in business units
  • Align with management on purchasing requirements on a weekly/monthly basis, along with managing, tracking, and resolving/escalating any issues or opportunities
  • Identify, review, analyze, and manage operational risks in business units.
  • Provide management reporting and information dissemination
  • Develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary
  • Provide timely updates of operational risk issues and decisions to Business Solutions executive team
  • Provide weekly status of projects' Risks to the PMO and all relevant stakeholders
Required Skills
  • Minimum 7 Years Experience with IT Solutions Strategic Planning, Agile Processes and Tools like JIRA and SNOW.
  • Minimum 7 Years Experience various software development lifecycle methodologies including a MUST have working knowledge of Agile techniques.
  • Minimum 7 Years Experience with JIRA,MS Office, Visio and MS Project;
  • Minimum 7 Years Experience with Development and management of high-level road maps of project portfolios aligned with overall strategy and business needsr
