VALiNTRY’s CPA Division works exclusively in Public Accounting as a premier, nationwide provider of staffing services for Big 4, Large, Mid-size and Small firms. As a result, recent public accounting experience is required.

About this Opportunity:
Audit Manager plans, supervises and reviews control accounting service engagements of all sizes and complexities for compliance with professional & firm standards. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, review and compilations standards and their application to client situations.
Additionally, an Audit Manager serves in a mentoring and training position for junior staff and offers an outstanding opportunity for leadership and career advancement. The Audit Manager works directly with partners, making recommendations on firm policy and procedures.

  • Oversee and Manage all phases of Assurance and Accounting projects
  • Consult clients on Assurance and Accounting matters

  • Maintains current knowledge of professional standards, emerging laws and regulations, and corporate governance requirements
  • Ensures work papers and client deliverables are accurate, high quality and comply with the required standards and firm quality control
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, perform, and deliver work independently with limited supervision on large complex engagements.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the financial statement preparation process.
  • Work closely with all experienced team members to identify and resolve issues encountered in completing engagement objectives through effective and timely communication.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship and demonstrate effective communication with client personnel at appropriate levels.
  • Maintain appropriate professionalism in client and team interactions.
  • Experience with a variety of accounting’s concepts, practices and procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment with a proven ability to meet and complete multiple deadlines and tasks
  • Have a command of GAAP, other comprehensive bases of accounting, unique or specialized accounting principles and financial statement presentations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstration of independent thinking and strong decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters preferred
  • Active CPA
Required experience:
  • At least 6 + years’ recent experience in public accounting
