Director of IT ( Infrastructure / Oracle's ERP / CRM ) manufacturing experience required

The Director of IT will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing strategic initiatives in IT. The person is responsible for planning, coordinating, designing and execution of all operational activities of the IT department and the IT systems and applications in support of operations. Foster innovations that creates competitive advantages through our digital strategy, improves service quality, supports business development, improves cost effectiveness that lead to greater productivity and efficiency.

The Director of IT will work closely with senior management across all departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support secure solutions enabling employee productivity and operational efficiencies

Position Responsibilities:
  • Set objectives and strategies for the IT department. Coordinate long range planning for administrative computing, technical computing, instructional computing, voice, text, and data communications assuring adequate capability for future needs; recommend the most appropriate computers and associated software for the anticipated and upgrading of computer technology in Company's business environment.
  • Serves as the company's top technology infrastructure manager and technology architect to support company operations and digital strategy.
  • Support and drive CRM and ERP initiatives to enhance overall company market agility, business acuity, operational efficiency, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure the company is implementing technologies that enhance product development and is generally responsible for the software development team and employing a technical strategy to improve customer-facing products.
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to staff within the organization
  • Establish partnerships with 3rd party IT providers. Ensure continuous delivery of third party services, through oversight of service level agreements with end users.
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
  • Keep ahead of trends and issues in the industry, including current and evolving technologies. Advise, counsel and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact
  • Ensure compliance with parent company standards
  • Management and development of direct reports
  • Administer the overall policies and goals of the department.
  • Supervise IT professional, technical and support staff, including but not limited to, hiring, performance evaluations, discipline, training, etc.
  • Develop, track and control departmental annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Oversee and manage all worldwide Company's computer platforms.
  • Oversee and administer leases, licenses and maintenance agreements for administrative and hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations, contractual obligations and established security protocols.

Desired Position Qualifications:
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementations
  • Experience of working with both on premise and cloud systems with a particular focus on server consolidation and cloud migration
  • Experience of managing and implementing ERP and CRM systems
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing business
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills A leader and team-builder who is "results-oriented " and passionate about leading, managing and mentoring staff and teams.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to translate complex technical issues into simple language that the business can understand
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience managing and directing an information technology function including experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Proven experience in a IT lead role or a similar position
  • Experience in the integration of mergers and acquisitions
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and security protocols as they relate to IT.
