VALiNTRY's CPA Division works exclusively in Public Accounting as a premier, nationwide provider of staffing services for Big 4, Large, Mid-size and Small firms. As a result, recent public accounting experience is required.
 
About this Opportunity:
The majority of our clients are middle market, closely-held businesses. Client industries represented include manufacturing, distribution, retail, real estate, construction not-for-profit and automotive. 

New England’s largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm, is seeking an experienced manager for the tax practice

Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor's in accounting required, MST a plus
  • CPA certification a must
  • 8+ years related experience (recent public experience highly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with review and preparation of 990s a plus
  • Experience in working with ProSystem fx Suite (Tax, Engagement)
  • Experience in working in a paperless environment
  • Strong technical tax skills and research capabilities
  • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
  • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize and prioritize under tight deadlines
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills 
Education:
Bachelor’s of Science or Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation
CPA required
 
Required experience:
8+ years of recent experience in public accounting
