Growing online media firm has an immediate need for an experienced Data Analyst. This person will be responsible for conducting data analysis on government data (GDP, unemployment figures, etc.) as well as business data (ad revenue, click data.) You will be one of a small team working in a fast-paced environment that is likely to see substantial growth over the short and medium term.

Work both independently and collaboratively to produce custom analyses, reporting materials, and data visualizations for the website and internal team members

Work quickly and fluently in SQL to assess, ingest, and transform raw datasets into client-ready analytics reports

Problem-solve creatively to deliver data-driven solutions and insights to challenges on tight timelines, in a growing, evolving team environment

Performing quality assurance checks on large datasets and resulting analyses

Identify problems, small and large, and proactively working to solve them

Translate data sets, models, and technical concepts into actionable, client-friendly deliverables

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
1-3 years of work experience in data analysis or analytics

History of being a proactive, self-starter

Strong proficiency in Excel and either Python or PHP

Experience and success at managing multiple tight timelines while maintaining a cool confidence

Outstanding attention to detail that means taking the quality of work personally

Great comfort conducting data analysis from start to finish—from raw and disparate datasets to a coherent data story that answers a business question.

Demonstrated strong written communication skills in a business setting

Experience producing intuitive, management-ready data visualizations
Proficiency with databases, preferably SQL

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior work experience in digital advertising, consumer-facing websites, and/or customer/user growth
