This position pays $65,000 to $70,000 plus an outstanding benefits package.  
 
He / She will be responsible for administering on boarding process for new vendors and associated risk based monitoring and reporting of group vendor metrics as directed by Vendor Operations manager and ensuring adherence to external regulatory requirements.
 
Accountabilities:
Support Vendor Operations manager in vendor selection process for department and administration of central vendor data software repository
Provide analysis of the firms sector spend by Vendor
Support in analyzing procurement and vendor data, producing KPIs and providing detailed reports to Line manager
Identify and advise area of improvements through service delivery improvements and process efficiencies
Assist in contract management and negotiation as directed
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all purchasing requests are handled in a timely manner
With team members assist in operation of the firms enterprise procurement platform
Complete assigned projects within established deadlines
Deal with complaints and escalate to Line manager as appropriate
Assist where appropriate with the effective execution and assessment of internal controls.
In addition to the above key responsibilities, you will be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and environments
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong knowledge in use of MS Excel including Pivot tables
Strong numerical and analytical skills
 
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
Knowledge of Procurement process preferable
Ability to manage data within Excel is essential
Bachelor degree required
At least 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a focus on data management or analytics
