Our reputed client, a Trading Company (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) is looking forward to recruit for the position of "Chiller Technician” in Sharjah; UAE.

Reporting: Team Leader / Supervisor

Department: Facilities Management

Job Purpose:

To achieve excellence in delivery of Home Maintenance services with highest standards and ensure best innovative, cost effective and safe work practices, manage scope of the contract to ensure quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time. To achieve financial and other targets established by the department Manager.


  • Able to carry out inspection, maintenance, servicing, repairing and testing of all AC and HVAC equipment

  • Basic skills in electrical circuit connections and operate direct machine equipment.

  • Able to diagnose service and maintain AC/HVAC installations and equipment in the commercial and residential buildings.

  • Knowledge of Safe working practices relating to all systems.

  • Must have wide knowledge and skills in repairing different kinds of Air-Cons and Cooling, heating systems

  • Must have knowledge in trouble shooting

  • Ability to detect damages and malfunctions

  • Must have wide knowledge in Air cooled and water cooled chiller maintenance and operation

  • Good English communication and presentable


  • Preparation of periodical reports.

  • Perform periodic preventive maintenance as per schedule.

  • Ensure that all operations and maintenance activities are properly recorded & documented

  • Executing the work order issued by the superiors with specified standards.

  • Response to emergencies and breakdowns.

  • Assist to perform the Plumbing, electrical and other works when and where required.

  • Advises supervisor concerning major repairs / changes required.

  • Complies with local rules, regulations and codes and works.

  • Monitors performance and adjusts HVAC equipment to obtain maximum efficiency.

Ensure seamless communication between all departments for the smooth operations and to achieve the organizational objective. Establish strong internal & external communication.

Ensure that the department operates within the framework of the approved budget and takes right decisions in line with the corporate objective of the department.

Operating Environment

The job holder interacts with all departments within Fawaz and other service providers.

He/she works in a safe & clean environment.
