One of our potential clients, based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Electrical Site Engineer

Job Purpose:
Sales & Field Engineers are the primary technical resource for the commercial representative team. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the commercial representative team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our client's products. The Sales & Field Engineer shall visit and work with the end user to evaluate their technical problems & needs undertake some routine maintenance, servicing, commissioning and installation of equipments
 
 
 Key Tasks & Duties
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with and between clients and principals via meetings, telephone calls and Emails.
  • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients, customers, end users, and other persons in a position to understand product/ service requirements. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Undertake routine maintenance, servicing and installation of equipments on behalf of OEM
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
  • Lead and manage highly technical sales/enquiries to clients
  • Making technical presentations/reports and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education for commercial representatives
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
  • Manage & provide technical support for OEMs resolving issues and problems to meet client's satisfaction.
  • Interpret data and results and monitor performance of equipments providing feedback to both OEM and client
  • Supervise, install and monitor installation and monitor commissioning of equipments
  • Manage receipt of goods/equipment ensuring QA/QC procedures are followed
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies etc.
  • Meet company objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and appraisal targets

  • Visit clients, end users, and other potential customers to establish their requirements establishing personal rapport with such customers
  • Lead and manage highly technical sales/enquiries to clients
  • QA/QC receipt of goods & equipment
  • Provide, manage & supervise commissioning and installation of equipment and services, provide after sales service, monitor equipment provided, give advice on spare part & maintenance of equipment provided
  • Undertake some routine maintenance, servicing and installation of equipments
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Undertake training on principal's products and keep up to date with product details
  • Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
  • Interpret data and results and monitor equipments
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education for commercial representatives
  • Provide training and producing support material for the commercial representative team
  • Attend and support marketing events to promote company and its principals
  • Search and identify potential new principals
