Our reputed client, a Government Oil and Gas Company is looking forward to recruit for the position of "Fire Truck Operator in Abu Dhabi.
Job Duties:
  • Having Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the similar position.
  • Operating all kind of Fire Trucks under emergency and nonemergency conditions, which includes driving, engaging pumps for foam and water, activating powder system and controlling all related technical parameters ensuring operational efficiency and safety of the crew and equipment.
  • Operating as a member of a crew in Fire & Rescue interventions involving the use of assigned equipment, in various areas, as instructed by Fire & Rescue Shift Supervisor, this includes laying and connecting hoses, operating nozzles, directing high-pressure water streams, providing all types of fire-fighting foam currents; climbing and working from constructions and ladders and using all equipment associated with the control and extinguishment of fire or other incidents including HAZMAT and rescue.
  • Undertaking routine maintenance work on fire-fighting equipment, appliances, tools, vehicles and station premises to ensure that they are operational (including cleaning, repairing, washing, drying, replenishing and testing for both mobile and fixed equipment such as hoses, valves, vehicles, hydrants, hose reels, water spray and sprinkler systems).
  • Undertaking other similar or related duties such as maintaining station premises in a clean condition, conducting fire safety checks on premises and facilities, gathering tools and equipment and do the cleaning up after fire-fighting operations.
  • Participate in job watch activities, which involve standby and observing all activities carried out by company or contractors' personnel according to a Permit to Work. Report any cases of incorrect work practices to the Fire & Rescue Shift Supervisor.
  • Training regularly on fire-fighting equipment and general rescue techniques including live fire training sessions.
