Our client, in power sector looking forward to recruit for the position of "Outage Supervisor in Abu Dhabi

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent
  • Maintenance Engineer with thorough knowledge of Maintenance, Outage and construction. The job holder must have experience in welding and piping works.
  • Ideally refractory and lifting activities, Experience in turnarounds of Process Plants and Refining Industry and a solid knowledge of Materials Technology.


Skills:
The Shutdown supervisor will be in charge of following-up the execution of shutdown activities performed by the different contracts. The tasks shall include but not limited to:

Main activities:
  • Ensure that all HSE measures and precautions are considered and strictly adhered to by TASEOM and Contractors staff during the preparation and execution of any activity or work in the Plant thus to eliminate any activity which might lead to Health Safety and Environment incidents.
  • Ensure on-site that all field activities carried-out in the Plant are executed according to TASEOM's HSSEQ procedures, standards and specifications.
  • Participate in Permit to Work (PTW) meeting during Outage to ensure risk assessment is properly done for all planned activities.
  • Recovery of all technical documents necessary for carrying out the work.
  • The systematic realization of site survey sheet with inspection reporting. In case of anomaly, the job holder will inform the Company by the use of an information sheet,
  • Daily on-site monitoring of the shutdown works
  • Follow-up the works as per the planning and scheduling
  • Follow-up the Inspection Program Points
  • Follow-up all works in its scope and will manage interfaces between the different discipline,
  • Ensure the proper and smooth coordination of the different disciplines and co-activity.
  • Inform the Company of all the significant problems that may have an impact on safety, technical quality, cost and planning,
  • Ensure compliance with the rules of safety, environmental and quality monitoring QHSE during the works,
  • Attend periodical meetings during the shutdown to coordinate the works
  • Ensure and report the works progress
