Our client, an automation based industry is looking forward to recruit for the position of "Sales Support Officer " in Abu Dhabi ", UAE.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • On project related and sales enquiries, review client technical and commercial RFQ documents & datasheets, select suitable products from our represented range and/or source products & services from other suppliers if needed, prepare technical & commercial compliance / deviation lists.
  • Assist in preparing technical & commercial proposals, with required supporting documents.
  • Review and reply to client technical and commercial queries. Converse with clients as needed on clarifications and to close out queries.
  • Track and follow up submitted quotes and proposals on a regular basis.
  • Develop a good rapport with clients' proposals and engineering team.
  • Check & follow up for new project related requirements related to Company's scope.
  • Work on company registrations new registrations, update and following up for registration confirmation.
  • On awarded jobs, review PO and prepare requisitions for different sub-suppliers.
  • Prepare and revise project documentation and coordinate with principals and suppliers for the same.
  • Keep track of project & sales order schedules, ensuring delivery dates are met, including invoicing of POs (advance, balance, milestone payments).
  • Attend kick off & progress meetings if required.
  • Assisting and working with other members of the sales team.
  • Assist with exhibition and training requirements and documents.
  • Assist with preparing material requisitions, material release notes, delivery notes and all company quality system related documentation.
  • Can be required to assist on checking incoming material, packing, deliveries, submissions and collections in the absence of Sales Support Officer.
  • Can be required to maintain faulty item records, follow up with service department for items sent for repair and reply to client queries on the same
Education: Technical background, preferably Electronics / Instrumentation Diploma or Degree.

Required Skills: Good communication/presentation skills, strong knowledge of the products, proactive approach, and Professional physical appearance.

Computer literate: Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Should be able to research requirements of companies on the web
Additional Skills:
  • Good command of written and spoken English & business communication
  • Having a UAE driving license, or should be willing to apply for one
  • Familiarity in working with ADNOC group of companies and EPC contractors will be an advantage
  • Team worker with good organizational skills
