What does this job involve

The Director of Operations has the sole responsibility for the entire business; accountable for smooth and efficient operations of all the restaurants of the company.

He should be a true ambassador representing the organizations values and mission, a visionary who can balance inspirational goals and flawless execution, a recognized leader, someone who can bring together and motivate a high performance team. He has to drive the success of the organization through visible and inspirational leadership, good communication and effective management practices.

Key roles

The purpose of the job is to develop company's overall long term strategic objectives and business plan; to monitor the implementation of company's strategies; to optimize the short, medium and long term performance as well as estimate viability of corporate goals.

The focus of the job is to improve the Company's performance and ensure business growth.

Director for Operations will be accountable for achieving all annual operating profit goals through driving sales, developing and retaining exceptional talent, and achieving superior and consistent operational excellence. He has to be instrumental in executing strategic plans, while championing guest satisfaction, employee motivation and positive fiscal results.


University degree majoring in Hospitality Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess thorough knowledge of accounting principles, HR practices, computer skills and be telecom conversant.


Minimum 10 years. Minimum 5 years of Directorial experience in multi-unit, high volume, top quality restaurant chain/hotel.
It is necessary that he/she has had experience in setting up and opening up new restaurants.
