Our client, a leading Bank from Sharjah is looking forward to hire candidate for below position
Department - Corporate Institutional Banking
Job Purpose:
  • Provide advisory to any trade finance matters.
  • Contacts customers and business, community, and organizations and generate new business.
  • Manage existing client relationships to assure both, retention and growth of existing revenues.
  • Facilitate implementation of deals where inputs from Central/ Region/local product management are required.
  • Identify business opportunities and areas of threats for Corporate and Trade products. Scan business environment for these and take action as appropriate.
  • To identify and translate market opportunities into product variations or enhancements in order fulfill customer requirements.
  • Monitor competition in MENA markets. Keep abreast of their new product offerings / service developments. Assess the threat to our business and plan remedial action to maintain a competitive edge for Bank products.
  • Responsible for identification / origination, structuring and execution of funded and unfunded transactions including risk participation with banks and post disbursement monitoring / administration of these transactions.
  • Monitoring and management of the Bank's borrowings from other banks and financial institutions.

Job Description:
Essential - Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting from a recognized international education institute
Desirable MBA or Post-Graduate qualification in Finance, Accounting or Commerce

  • 8 - 10 years Corporate Banking experience especially Financial Institutions Banking.
  • Knowledge and experience of banking operations and foreign trade processes.
  • Good sales/Relationship Management track record

Job Skills:
  • Sound knowledge of credit appraisal techniques
  • Strong capability to interpret financial statements / balance sheets / cash flow statements etc.
  • Good knowledge about various cash & non-cash corporate banking products related to financing for working capital, projects and fixed assets, imports, exports, guarantees, investments and foreign exchange risk hedging etc.
  • Good understanding about modus operandi and documentation of syndicated and bilateral funded and unfunded transactions.
  • Capability to understand macro & micro economic conditions & financial markets developments locally & internationally and their impact on banking business. Offer suggestions to seniors (wherever required) for appropriate actions
  • Understanding of local market and competitor activity
