Costing Solutions Manager

Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Materials AOP & Standard Costing Solutions Manager will focus on understanding the current Costing process within Client and internally in Global Procurement and propose an action plan as to how to simplify and improve the process. Part of this roles responsibilities, will be also to investigate and research other companies "costing best practices” and evaluate the feasibility to implement in Client Global Procurement.
In addition, this role will work closely with the Costing lead who is managing the costing process to ensure process clarity and proper documentation and provide back up in times of resource constraints. Finally, this role will support the analytics needed for Direct Materials costing.

General Duties & Responsibilities:
? Investigate and benchmark industry "costing best practices” related to planning materials costs in terms of systems and reporting solutions. Prepare Recommendation to Senior Management as to alternative action plans and implementation requirements.
? Support the Annual Materials Costing Process including clear process documentation. Including, extracting data from the Procurement BI, creating the necessary infrastructure and files for planning, collecting and consolidating data and providing thorough analysis.
? Provide analytics needed related to Materials costing
? Other projects/duties to be assigned as needed/appropriate.
? Manage ad hock requests as needed, such as materials trend analysis etc.

Qualifications and Skills:
? Exceptional MS office skills mainly excel and access. The ability to manipulate heavy sets of data and create concise and accurate reports - must
? Ability to write SQL queries
? Strong knowledge of Cognos BI and understanding of IT acumen - must
? Experience with Manufacturing Costing Processes and Systems - must
? 5+ years of experience in ERP systems, mainly Procurement and Financial modules, structure and processes
? 5+ years of finance, planning, advanced analytics, reporting experience
? Pharma industry experience: preferred
? Bachelor's degree in accounting, materials mgmt., purchasing, or IT - preferred
? Strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork in multi-cultural environment.
? Effective written and oral communication skills
? Solid understanding of planning and control best practices, policies and tools
? Ability to lead and influence without authority
? Strong in time management and organization

NOTES:
• Possibility of extension
• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, shift starting 8 a.m
• Overtime: Not planned but as required
