Needs to be proficient supporting end user voice issues and requests on:
PBX's – Messaging - Handsets
  •          Avaya S8800 PBX – Core system supporting many locations
    •    Costa Mesa CA – AO – 3300 users
    •    Coppell TX – AO – 800 users
    •    38+ branch locations in California and Texas
  •          Avaya  s8300/G350
  •          Avaya Definity
  •          Avaya Modular Messaging
  •          Aura Messaging
  •          Avaya 2408, 2410, 2420
 
Typical requests
·         Perform problem resolution and IMACD for desktop voice, such as: telephone sets, re-set password, modify set programming to add or remove functions in accordance with Voice Services standards.
·         Facilitate Incident Resolution for voice issues including coordination of vendors, telco, smart hands and Client engineering and as required
·         Add phone to ACD queue or add phone to hunt group, modify coverage paths or other basic local PBX functions, as specified by Client.
·         Provide replacement parts such as handsets, cords and/or phone sets. Sets may be refurbished units but must be in compliance with established Client standards for both the Nortel and Avaya environments.
·         Update and maintain Holiday tables on stand-alone PBX systems, as specified and documented by Client.
·         Update and maintain Daylight Savings Time settings on all PBX systems as specified by Client.
·         Utilize remote connectivity software and exercise expertise in remote PBX support.  These tools include Symantec ProComm, Avaya Site Manager and Nortel Remote Tools (for Norstar connectivity).
