JOB TITLE: Fabrication/Assembly Technician

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting in the fabrication of various components and or whole parts to support the production and manufacturing of specialized water treatment equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

•Fabricate parts to build specialized equipment.
•Be able to use wrenches, channel locks, saws, drills and tape measures
•Fit pipes and parts together.
•Use various, machinery to include, but not limited to, drill press, belt sander, saw, and bench grinder.
• Operate forklift as needed.
•Other work as assigned by management or required to support the Construction, Maintenance, and Production Departments.
•Confined Space work required in pressure vessels. (attachment includes dimensions and pictures)
•Be able to stand on a ladder / lift 40lbs

Skills:
•Looking for someone with great mechanical aptitude.
•Ability to read a tape measure.
•Does not have to be forklift certified, but that would be ideal. Would still have to go through training for forklift even if certified.
•Again, MUST have experience working in confined spaces in pressure vessels. These pressure vessels are free standing.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•High school diploma
•Preferred two years

Shift/Hours (PLEASE READ):
•1st Shift – (6:00am-2:00pm/4:00pm) – may have some overtime, and looking for someone who would be flexible to working a night/swing shift if needed (3:00pm-11:45pm)

Additional Information:
•Steel toed boots are required. They will provide hard hat and safety glasses, but contractor will need to provide their own steel toed boots.
