UPDATED JOB DUTIES (6/9/16):
Here is a list of skills and experience that I'm looking for along with a brief description of the job duties.
The majority of candidates that I'm seeing are mostly stronger with Migration and Install experience but lack the Break-Fix experience and troubleshooting skills.
I'm also seeing a lot of free-lance experience but lacking the corporate environment support experience working with a ticketing system bound to SLAs.
BTW - This really applies to all of my open reqs.
Required Skills / Experience:
A+ IT Technician, Experienced
Laptop PC, Install/Support,Advanced
Desktop PC. Install/Support, Advanced
Experience working in a corporate environment utilizing Desktop/Helpdesk ticketing systems
Desktop and laptop hardware diagnostic and repair skills
Face-to-face support as well as remote support experience
Needs a thorough understanding of Windows 7 & 8.1 and PC hardware.
Needs a thorough understanding of MS Office 2010 support
Strong hardware and software installation and support experience.
Ability to install, test and troubleshoot computers and peripherals.
PC imaging and setup proficiency
Should be well organized and have good communication skills as he/she will be interfacing directly with the customer
Ability to multi-task and mange time efficiently.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Technical and procedural documentation skills are a plus
Job Duties:
Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing company and multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
Responsibilities include imaging and configuring PCs that are required to fulfill incidents, IMAC, and Refresh projects.
Installs and optimizes HW/SW/Networking product and configurations at the PC level.
Perform diagnostics and resolves product performance problems.
Ensures customer satisfaction by preventative maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.
Perform configurations and Break/Fix in a PC configuration and setup environment.
Process daily tickets to meet or exceed SLA's.
Work will include troubleshooting, hot swaps and asset tracking tasks.
