Coord, Contract and Billing

I. Essential Functions

Primarily responsible for determining the actions required to ensure the accuracy of customer, contract, asset and financial data contained within company database. Analyze and process complex lease and billing transactions. Coordinate with other departments including contracts, billing, collections, accounts receivable, tax accounting, cost accounting and lease accounting.

II. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities % of Time

A. Process Database Changes 60%
1) Analyze and process terminations, database corrections, service modifications etc., in accordance with company processes and policies.
2) Analyze and process appropriate accounting adjustments for changes in contract terms, including processing of credits and debits, tax adjustments, term changes, customer/contract/asset maintenance, etc. Ensure data accuracy for financial reporting.
3) Collaborate with multiple functional areas to ensure invoice accuracy

B. Research and Problem Resolution 40%
1) Research, analyze and resolve system inconsistencies, determining appropriate action to correct and prevent recurrence. Determine appropriate action to correct and modify contract terms where special billing instructions or accounting treatment applies.
2) Data clean-up projects (adhoc)
3) Error and exception reporting


Reports to: Supervisor/Manager of Database Analysis
Supervises: NA
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
Experience: Background in leasing / contracts operations (4+ years); experience in disciplined environment.
Knowledge / Skills: Strong customer service orientation; highly analytical; attention to detail and conscientious, familiar with SAP ECC & CRM a plus; highly personable; able to work with multiple groups and personalities; able to adapt to constantly changing environment.
Physical / Mental: Ability to use computers; work extended hours as a result of a formal close process with strict deadlines inclusive of weekends and holidays; detail oriented; able to balance workloads; conscientious, focused, efficient, decision-maker; naturally curious and inquisitive; ability to use independent judgment and discretion.
Work Environment: Fluctuating workloads; month and quarter end deadlines; customer focused and open environment; team approach.
