Job Description: 
  • This person will be doing project work around developing images for a Windows 10 & Office 365 migration.
  • End Point Management SME 
  • This position requires someone with SME (subject matter expert) level knowledge of desktop Operating System Deployment processes, Image Development, configuration and use of MDT, SCCM OSD, USMT, design and administration of Microsoft SCCM (all versions) in an enterprise, and SCCM based reporting. 
  • The candidate should be familiar with proven expertise in all areas of Managed Desktop Services, including those mentioned above, along with Level 3 and 4 Support, and the ability to provide consulting advisory and technical delivery services for special projects related to these services. 
Day to Day Work: 
  • This is a versatile role providing technical leadership and process assessment and development in the End Point Management (Desktop Management) service streams for Client. 
  • The Technical SME role is asked to contribute to the estate of knowledge and process development for delivering End Point Management Services by participating as a Subject Matter Expert in Software Deployment Technologies, Image Development, and to provide oversight and interface with offshore or remote service teams. 
  • The EPM SME must effectively work with other technologists in our teams to define and execute our service strategies. 
  • This role often will interface with counterparts from our client businesses and our Account Management Teams, as well as with technology team members from our organization. 
  • This candidate will be called upon to help manage, configure, and implement new features on primary tooling platforms such as Microsoft SCCM 2012. 
  • The candidate will also serve as a top tier support resource for evaluating and remediating complex technical challenges faced by our clients and technology teams. 
  • This position is for an onsite client-facing assignment. 
  • Candidate must be highly skilled administering and configuring Microsoft SCCM and utilizing it for software, patch, and operating system deployment. 
  • Candidate will also work extensively with Microsoft MDT in support of the image management work including creation of new images, and incorporation of new hardware into existing images. 
  • Knowledge of Windows Deployment Technologies and image development, application packaging/testing, and GPO Administration/troubleshooting are also key skills. 
  • Effective written and oral (English Language) communication skills are required. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Consult on, define, and deliver projects within the Managed Desktop Services space, onsite at an important Client Outsourced IT Customer location.
Technical and Behavioral Skills: 
  • 2 Year College related college degree or Technical School Certification 
  • Related 4 yr. College degree or commensurate skills preferred 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English Language) required 
  • 3+ years of MS Windows Image Development and deployment experience required 
  • 5+ years of SCCM experience required including familiarity with all major SCCM features 
  • Strong scripting skills using VBScript and PowerShell 
  • Microsoft MDT and USMT experience required 
  • Consulting and Project Delivery Experience in an enterprise environment is preferred
