Job Description Summary

Leverages broad domain, technology, and/or product development experience to perform VOC elicitation, user needs analysis, workflow modeling, and requirement & specification definition of functional & technical problems. Utilizes leadership skills to proceed to prototype, document, and review proposed software solutions with the broader development team in R&D to solve aforementioned customer problems within the context of a system software release.

- May elicit VOC to confirm that the functional problems are sufficiently understood
- Analyzes assigned functional workflows supported by our Medication Management Solutions software products
- Documents functional needs of the end-user(s) in the context of the software solution
- Proposes functional solutions to solve the identified problem

- May create visual representations or functional wire-frames or prototypes of the solution
- Independently leads the internal RA team and broader external R&D stakeholders through increasingly detailed functional reviews of proposed solutions
- Ensures that the software engineering, software quality engineering, and project management teams understand the functional solutions well enough to collectively assess feasibility, accurately estimate, effectively develop, and thoroughly test them.

This particular role will be in direct support of the Pharmacy platform system releases, and specifically to analyze and identify functional solutions for our Client Pyxis Logistics (Pharmogistics) product.

Desired skills and experience:

•Previous experience analyzing functional software problems and proposing solutions that directly address the customer's needs
•Previous exposure to hospital pharmacy or hospital IT workflow
•Previous experience working in large software development teams
•Prior experience creating wire-frames and/or visual representations of software solutions
•Independent ownership of defining complex software functionality
