Email Project Manager

Role Summary
The Email Project Manager is responsible for ensuring flawless, on time delivery of consumer email campaigns for a major financial provider. This role gathers inputs from cross-functional partners including email creative, legal reviews, and segmentation. They work with an off-shore team in the build and deployment of the marketing campaign emails. Experience working with project management software, Excel, document retention and/or CRM platforms makes for the ideal candidate.

Essential Responsibilities
• Liaise with clients and peers within a marketing center of excellence to deliver effective email marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate the inputs for multiple email campaigns for multiple clients at a time.
• Collaborate with client marketers on optimal email design, creative, and segmentation, assisting clients with agency creative delivery and legal approvals.
• Audit workbooks for file selection and segmentation of email campaigns ensuring targeting accuracy.
• Working within designated email platforms, manage the build and successfully launch email marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all campaigns meet campaign documentation retention standards and that clients consistently comply with these requirements.
• Support business CTC (Critical to Quality) management.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of Marketing or Digital experience
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience with one or more of the following: project coordination, email marketing, database marketing, data segmentation, data collection, analytic reporting, digital marketing, web page building and/or html.
• Satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Desired Characteristics:
• 2+ years email channel experience, with hands on experience building and deploying commercial email or equivalent experience with html/web page building.
• Experience in consumer financial services with exposure to a credit card or retail environment.
• Project management skills with successful experience solving problems in a cross functional team.
• Experience working with data segmentation and data auditing.
• Demonstrated aptitude in computer software programs including Microsoft Office and Project Management or CRM software.
