GEL - Program Manager III serves as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of assigned Lighting and Energy Management Controls initiatives Key Responsibilities Include: Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s), with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program Clearly communicate program status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s) Manages activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the Lighting and Energy Management Controls program(s). Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization Coordinates program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, developing implementation, testing and training plans and ensuring the successful transition to support and maintenance teams Qualifications: BS Degree in technical discipline or equivalent certification in Project Management Minimum 10 years IT experience with 6 years in project/program management or equivalent or equivalent experience in implementation of technology/building Controls in construction projects Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions Experience with quality management and systems testing Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication Project management experience in customer delivery environments Coordinate efforts in line with the bigger picture to maximize the overall value of program delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements (e.g., Title 24) Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them in a complex building environment Strong leadership skills Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
