Opportunity for a passionate RN Leader to join a positive team in leading the Skilled Nursing and Restorative Program! Nurse Manager will partner with the Restorative Team to collaborate and promote a Holistic Care approach for patients. 
 
Nurse Manager will promote Holistic Care in addition to Clinical Services and serve as a leader in the community in building both internal and external partnerships to benefit patients, families and organizational growth.

Compensation

Condition of Work
  • Nurse Manager will Lead the 18 bed newly renovated 20-day short stay rehabilitation unit, as well as oversee Restorative Services.
  • Nurse Manager will attend off-site events as needed as a representative within the community.
  • M-F Day Shift (NO nights, weekends, or call)
Job Description
  • Nurse Manager will take ownership of an 18-bed, newly renovated 20-day short-stay rehab unit in addition to overseeing Restorative Services.
  • Nurse Manager will promote Holistic Care practices in the best interests of patients and families for optimal quality and patient experience. 
  • Nurse Manager will collaborate with and supervise Restorative Services Supervisor and ancillary staff including PT's, OT's, etc.
  • Nurse Manager will serve as Community Representative for the Skilled Nursing & Restorative Program, and build partnerships with external parties to increase patient census and program awareness.
  • Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to uphold excellent patient care and customer service for clients and families.
  • Evaluates quality of care given by the team of RNs and LNAs on the unit, and ensures adherence to state and federal regulatory guidelines
  • Works collaboratively with Clinical Team, including Physicians, APRNs, OT/PT, RN's, LPN's, and Leadership.
  • Creates and implements a training program for licensed staff members
  • Manages the flow of admissions, consistently having 16-18 full beds, and ensure that admissions feel welcome and comfortable
  • Increase opportunity for partnerships in the community, such as using marketing practices or other creative initiatives
Qualifications
  • BSN and NH RN license required
  • 5+ years of long term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation required
  • 2+ years of Nurse Manager, Unit Manager or similar Clinical Leadership experience 
  • PICC line certified and CCRN preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with the geriatric population
