Job Description:
  • Director of Surgical Services will partner with Executive Leadership to ensure high quality nursing care and patient safety.
  • Responsibilities will include operations, finance and business development, including appropriate resource management and developing clinical services lines.
  • Supervise Clinical Staff, maintain positive Physician partnerships and collaborate with Provider partners.
  • Additional duties include business analytics, with an emphasis on throughput and efficiency.
  • Director of Surgical Services will oversee the continuum of Surgical / Perioperative Services, Anesthesia and Sterile Processing.
  • Develop expansion, performance improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Promotes the development and implementation of best practices and the cultivation of a highly efficient patient flow process.
  • Collaborates with the nursing and medical staff leadership on issues related to service delivery, technology and equipment, capital planning, revenue generation and enhancement, and all other related administrative matters.
  • Coordinates resources to meet patient care demands.
  • Drives employee engagement to create a highly coordinated, positive and well-functioning department.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local agency regulations.
  • Supervise all perioperative leadership, anesthesia leadership, surgical physician assistant services, sterile processing leadership assigned directly to the Director of Perioperative Services.

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Related field
  • RN Strongly preferred
    CNOR Strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience at Manager, Director or CNO Level managing a complex Acute Care Department.
  • 3+ years of Operating Room, Surgical, Perioperative or similar Leadership preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with Clinical Staff, Physicians, Patients, Families, Executive Leadership and other stakeholders.

  • $95,000-$140,000 base salary dependent on experience and credentials
