To assist members with their consumer lending needs; assembles and verifies loan documents for completion and accuracy.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review incoming applications and contracts to ensure loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data.
- Assemble and verify loan documents are complete and accurate according to company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare and/or review all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Process indirect loans, and open accounts for the indirect loans that are sent from the dealerships. May assist department with follow up calls to dealerships and/or members to obtain missing documents or other information.
- Respond to department specific inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the credit union's loan policies.
- Handle sensitive documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide exceptional service at every point of contact.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good listening and telephone skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented, must be good with names and numbers.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Prerequisites:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education:
A high school degree or GED is required.
