Think about a career in the mortgage industry as a Loan Originator! As an Entry Level Mortgage Sales Originator you will undergo intensive paid training. During this time, we invest in:
  • National SAFE Act/State Testing Preparation
  • Licensing Support & Sponsorship
  • We will teach you everything you need to know about the product through on the job training mixed with some classroom time.
During your first few months of employment with you will:
  • Work with licensed Loan Originators and start to develop an understanding of the product and process.
  • Learn how to use our technology.
  • Prepare and study for the national SAFE Act (NMLS) AND states licensing exams.
  • You will be expected to obtain your Mortgage Originator License within 30-45 days of hire. To accomplish this, will provide specialized training in conjunction with guidance from some of the top producing mortgage professionals, and on-the-job-experience. We will pay for all your licensing and sponsorship.
Upon successful completion of the National and State exams and licensure requirements are met, you will become a Mortgage Loan Originator .* Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Within this role, you will be our customers' first contact so you must make an incredible first impression. Your job is to educate our customers -- not sell. You will explain our values, our process and how to work with us. Our rate and fee combinations will be compelling enough to interest consumers. When they're ready, you'll take their loan applications, educate them on available loan options, and answer any questions they have. You will provide incredible customer service throughout the loan process. *Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Positive Attitude and lots of energy!
  • Experience in sales or client service environment preferred, such as Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, Automotive, and/or Retail a plus, but not required.
  • Highly effective communication skills - oral, written and group.
  • Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective customers.
  • Strong work ethic, a high level of integrity, and the desire to overachieve.
  • Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills to understand complex coverage details and guidelines.
  • This position requires that incumbents attain and maintain National Safe Act education and exam and obtain state specific licenses in the mortgage industry.
