Job Summary
Under general supervision, gathers, analyzes and verifies all necessary information provided by both MACU members and Loan Agents. Works directly with both Members and internal Loan agents to ensure files are complete, prepared for closing and underwritten appropriately.Job Description

  • Provides AAA service to our members
  • Looks for ways to enhance the members experience with added value items e.g. Rescue opportunities, Products and Services, etc.
  • Performs functions while receiving files from multiple sources (e.g. member applying directly, internal Loan Agent, lead sources, etc.)
  • Performs necessary verification procedures.
  • Submits loans for underwriting approval when all documents are received and completed.
  • Reviews and revises loan files to ensure completion and accuracy. Forwards as appropriate
  • Schedules a closing time that meets the member's needs
  • Keeps loan documents (memos) updated at all times
  • Closes loan timely / accurately and ensures timely payoffs are sent
  • Keeps current on consumer loan products.
  • Understands different state regulations to ensure MACU compliance with all aspects of a loan
  • Ability to effectively partner with other departments to ensure fulfillment (e.g. Liens, titles, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

At least one year or related experience
Equivalent to a high school education.
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations
Managerial Responsibility
Have no supervisory/ managerial responsibilities.
Language Skills
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents (in English) such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, members, or clients.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Intermediate to Advanced skills in the following: Adding machine/10-Key, computer operating skills (windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite. Must have the ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
Physical Demands
Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently.

Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
Weight Lifted or Force Exerted
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
