Description
P OSITION S UMMARY :

Responsible for processing the most complex residential loan applications according to established timelines, process flow, regulations, and procedures. Has a solid understanding of all legal regulations relating to processing and closing. Handles escalated problems and issues requiring a senior level knowledge of residential mortgage loan processing. Maintains knowledge of regulatory changes, external and internal compliance requirements, and investor guidelines to insure loan saleability. Responsible for training junior-level processors with specific attention to DocMagic, Calyx Point, and providing guidance to other new processors to the ICM team. Must be an expert on FHA, VA, USDA, Bond, Conventional products and DU/LP/GUS systems.

E SSENTIAL D UTIES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES

· Review documents for completeness and acceptability of loan conditions
· Review credit, income, assets, disclosures
· Order title, MI and appraisal, if applicable
· Complete required checklists/worksheets
· Obtain additional documentation needed from all sources
· Update systems to reflect accurate information
· Submit for underwriting approval
· Communicate, prepare and mail out commitment letter, notice of incompleteness or declination
· Review title requirements, exceptions, and other information obtained for accuracy, completeness and conformance
· Review and collect underwriting conditions and submit conditions to underwriting for final approval
· Review loan system and documentation in file returning to underwriting, if applicable
· Upon receipt of final approval, prepare authorization to close and send to all parties
· Review and respond to exception reports, internal and external audits, as required
· Perform other related duties as assigned or required
· Maintain accurate pipeline by documenting conversation log and tracking loan progress







M INIMUM Q UALIFICATIONS (K NOWLEDGE , S KILLS , AND A BILITIES )

· Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
· High School Diploma. College degree preferred.
· Must have specialty product processing experience. 203k, VA, USDA, HomePath...etc
· Encompass
· Must have trained other processors and be willing to create training modules
· Must have a flexible schedule with no outstanding commitments
· Must be willing to travel periodically
· Must be energized and excited to work in mortgage space
· Must be have the ability to work with technology
· Must have a good attitude
· NMLS license an extreme plus
